Using the Powder/Binder 3D printing technology the Prometal systen can produce moulds and cores for traditional casting processes with their Rapid Cast foundary grade materials. The process is suitable for casting the following materials;

1. Aluminium
2. Copper Alloys
3. Ductile Iron
4. Grey Iron
5. Steel

 In addition the Direct Metal powders allow the printing of metal parts. A binder is sprayed in to the metal powder and once complete the metal component can then be sintered. Materials available are generally Bronze alloys as shown below.
